Celebration of Life for music teacher, Capital City Community Band founder Richard Doede on Monday, June 23

There will be a Celebration of Life for Richard Doede on Monday, June 23, 2025, 2 p.m. at the Carson City Plaza Hotel and Events Center, 801 S Carson St., in Carson City. Richard passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the age of 98.

He was a band teacher for the Carson City School District and the founder of the Capital City Community Band. All who knew Richard are invited to attend. See the obituary for Richard Doede here.
