Catherine Shaughnessy
Alabama – Catherine Shaughnessy, 82, Passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025. She is survived by her daughters and spouses; Karen Korzun of Minot, ND; Cherly Curley & John of Limestone, TN; Kathy Shaughnessy at Midland, GA; Mary-Beth Wilson & Don in Yuba, CA. She leaves her sister Margaret Waugh; 9 grandchildren Meghan, Bryanna, Kellina, Katelyn, Jessica, Brittney, Patrick, Kristin, and Michael; 10 great grandchildren; numerous neices, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Brian J. Shaughnessy, and brother Peter Rouke.
Catherine Shaughnessy was born in Hartford CT, May 30, 1942, of the late Peter and Margaret (Spillane) Rourke. Catherine dedicated her life to her family, and working for Civil Services Transportation department for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and the company of her life-long friend Kay Donley.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:30AM at St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster, under the direction of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
