Carson Street at William Street to close beginning Monday for road work

As part of Carson City’s William Street Project, crews will be completing major underground utility improvements over the next two weeks. Please plan ahead for delays and detours in this area.

Week of Oct. 20

Full closure Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for new waterline installation.

During non-working hours, one lane in each direction (North/South) will reopen.

East/West travel will remain closed 24 hours a day.

Week of Oct. 27
Full closure begins Sunday evening, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m., continuing 24 hours/day through Thursday afternoon (Oct. 30).

Work includes new sewer and water line installation and traffic signal underground infrastructure.
