As supply of the Tommy Moose Dolls for children in Carson Tahoe Hospital’s ER department were running low, Carson City Moose Lodge arrived last Friday to donate another three dozen of the dolls that are such a hit with the children.
In addition to providing comfort and reassurance, Carson Tahoe nurses show the young patients what will happen during their care by “treating” the moose first with a bandage or exam.
