Knock on wood Carson City because forecasts are predicting a break from the heat going into next week!
The high today, Friday June 20, is at 75, but don’t let it make you throw caution to the wind; a Red Flag Warning has been issued until midnight Saturday due to ongoing dry and breezy conditions.
Then as we move into the weekend, the high for Saturday is 67, followed by 74 on Sunday.
A slight uptick as we move into next week will see highs in the low to high 80s for Monday through Wednesday, then a forecasted rise back into the 90s starting on Thursday.
So if you’ve been putting off your outside chores because of the heat (a smart move, as I have not and nearly passed out pulling weeds this week!) this weekend is probably the last weekend we’ll see with these low of temperatures until the fall!
