Carl Valentine

Carl Valentine of Nanuet, NY, formerly of Pearl River, NY passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025. He was 86 years old.

Carl (a lifelong devoted Yankee fan) was born on September 11, 1939, in The Bronx, NY, the youngest of seven, to Charles and Eleanor (Strack) Valentino (Valentine).

Carl worked as a carpet installer for many years in Westchester and Rockland counties. In later years, Carl worked as a courier for A&P. Carl finished his career transporting children to and from school with Kevin’s Cartwheels and talked about the kids as if they were his own.

Carl was a devoted husband for over 63 years, as well as loving father, grandfather, friend and uncle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, and his children Joe and wife Kathleen, Ginny and husband Brian (Hanley), and Tom and wife Liz.

He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Erin, Matt, Brendan, Timmy, Brian, Molly and Nora. Additionally, Carl loved and enjoyed his many nieces and nephews.

Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Shrine Church in Nanuet, NY at 10 AM.
