Brandon Alexander Guerrero, age 30, passed away on September 26, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on September 1, 1995, in Lubbock, and was the proud father of Vanessa Acuña Guerrero.
Brandon lived a life full of love, especially for his daughter, and was known for his dedication to family, his strong work ethic, and his generous spirit. He worked as a Computer Technician at University Medical Center, where he was respected for his knowledge and professionalism. He earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems from South Plains College.
Brandon had a deep passion for politics and reading and took great joy in the companionship of his cat, Princess. He will be remembered for his great smile, loud and contagious laugh, giving heart, and his incredible resilience, perseverance, and tenacity. A handsome young man with a vibrant personality, Brandon was loved by many and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Vanessa Acuña Guerrero ( Her mother; Veronica Acuna); grandmother Louisa Garcia; mother Brenda Braddock and stepfather David Braddock; father Gilbert Guerrero and stepmother Jackie Guerrero; brothers Patricio Braddock and Miguel Braddock; sisters Esther Braddock, Amanda Braddock, and April Lee Guerrero; uncles Jimmy Garcia (Anna), Hubert Braddock (Margie), Heath Braddock (Cindy), and Coty Braddock (Neyla); aunts Diamond (Chancellor) and Amanda Garcia; four nieces; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his cherished grandfather Johnny Garcia; grandparents Patrick N. Braddock and Carolyn Braddock; Aunt Joy Braddock; and Uncle Patrick L. Braddock.
A funeral service will be held with dates and times to be announced. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Brandon’s life.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the individuals, caregivers, and members of the community who offered love and support during this difficult time.
Brandon’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
