Barbara “Bobbie” A. Farran, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Hollidaysburg on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was born in New Haven, CT daughter of the late Fred and Ruth Pare. She married James Renshaw in 1951 who died in 1978. She then married Charles Farran in 1981, and he died in 2012.
Surviving are a son, Mike Renshaw (Barbara); daughters: Patty Sheetz, Susan Schwaderer (George), and Cathy Gahagan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Mower.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg.
Bobbie loved the beach, watching the Steelers and PGA Golf, but what she loved most was her family and close friends.
Family and friends will be received from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc. 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona Pa 16601. A private funeral service for the family will be held on Saturday. Interment at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
