Allen Harvey

Allen D. Harvey, 52, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home in Hannibal, MO.

Friends and Family are invited to Allen’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.

Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.

Allen was born February 28, 1973, in Quincy, IL to Robert Harvey and Nancy East Harvey Richards.

Survivors include his mother, Nancy Richards (Ron) of Center, MO; longtime companion, Norma Bramblett; two children, Matthew Harvey-Mayfield of Columbia, MO, and Christopher Harvey-Mayfield of Columbia; one brother, Robert Harvey of Decatur, IL; and two grandchildren, Bella Mayfield and Jaxon Mayfield. He is also survived by his good friend and roommate, Jeremy.

Allen was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harvey; and daughter-in-law, Christina Mayfield.

Allen worked in construction as a carpenter for many years.

A lover of nature, Allen found peace in simply just being outdoors. Colorado, with its breathtaking landscapes, was Allen’s favorite. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the beautiful mountains. Whether hiking or just taking in the views, Allen’s connection to the land was profound. Riding his three-wheel motorcycle and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs were two of Allen’s favorites. A talented woodworker, Allen was often found building his next piece of rustic furniture to showcase. At home, Allen’s heart belonged to his beloved cat, Kitty. Kitty was more than a pet; she was a companion, a confidant, and a source of unconditional love. Most of all, Allen cherished the times spent with his family and friends and will be missed.
