Albrina Mangone

Albrina A. Mangone, 103, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. She was born in Lambertville, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Princeton. Albrina attended Nassau Street Public School, Princeton High School, and Traphagen School of Fashion in NYC.

After fashion school Albrina worked at The French Shop for Elise Goupil where she made casual dresses, wedding dresses and veils for many friends and family. In addition to raising her three sons alongside her husband Saverio, Albrina helped out at her brother Bert’s store, Hinksons’ The Office Store, in the greeting card section. She enjoyed family life, reading, cooking, baking, and traveling. She was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society at St. Paul’s Church and of the Princeton Italian-American Sportsman Club.

Predeceased by her husband Saverio Mangone; parents Fabiano Andrea and Ermilina (Procaccini) Ruberto; brother Bert Roberto; and brother-in-law Tony Mangone; she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rich Mangone, Frank and Deanna Mangone and their children Matthew and David; Andrew and Janet Mangone and their children Kristin and Michael and his wife Kerry and their children Emilena, Maximo, and Milo; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Joseph and Cesina Mangone, Carmela Mangone, and Rosemary Roberto.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 5-8pm at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton, NJ 08542. Funeral will begin on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 10am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at St. Paul’s Church, 216 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ 08542. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
