Albert Gonzales

Albert Gonzales, a beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend, passed away on August 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his wife and his children, Mercedes and Pablo.

After a long and courageous battle, Albert showed us what true strength looks like. Through every setback, he never gave up. He pushed forward not only for himself, but also for his family. Even in the hardest moments, he showed the importance of love, honesty, and forgiveness.

Albert was a man of great skill and dedication. From concrete work to epoxy, there was nothing he couldn’t do. Outside of work, he had a deep passion for lowriders. He loved westerns, wrestling, cheering for the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Diamondbacks. He enjoyed listening to Oldies – from Augustine Ramirez to Little Joe, he liked a variety of music. His smile and playful spirit lit up every room, leaving lasting joy with all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Celia; his children Mercedes and Pablo, who all stood lovingly by his side; Albert, Anastacio, and Desiree; his mother, Mary Gonzales; his sisters, Irene Younker, Ida Suther, and Dolores Huffman; his brother, Enrique Gonzales; and many other family and friends who will carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvaro Gonzales, and his brother, David Gonzales.

Services will be held at Phoenix Funeral and Cremation Service, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and the love he brought to the world.
