Abbie Smith

Abbie Linda Smith passed away Friday May 30, 2025, at the age of 84 at Ray & Kay Center in Paducah, KY.

Abbie was born October 5, 1940, to her parents Homer Hammonds, Zetril “Garner” Hammonds, she was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Abbie married James A. Smith and shared a life together for 67 years.

Abbie is survived by her two sons: Bradley (Mary) Smith, Tim (Trina) Smith, all from Wickliffe, KY. Three grandchildren: Lindsey Moore, Dalton Smith, Evan (Sarah) Smith.

Five great-grandchildren: Eli, Madison, Ellianna, Kayden, Jarren.

Abbie is preceded in death by her husband James A. Smith, a granddaughter: Emily Smith, and her parents Homer, Zetril Hammonds.

Abbie’s wishes were to be cremated and have services at later date.
