Words cannot fully capture the essence of Tyler Reid.

Tyler was born on Dec. 8th, 2001, in Livingston, NJ, the daughter of Dr. Vincent and Darline (Davermann) Reid. She stubbornly came into this world and made

every moment of her

existence on this earth

memorable. From her

exuberant entrance, she was

nothing less than

captivating—her smile, her

energy, her intelligence and

her creativity.

At the age of 10, Tyler,

along with her family

relocated to Robins, IA and

she continued to spread her

enchanting energy. Tyler

attended Bowman Woods Elementary, Oakridge Middle School and Xavier High school. She left her mark at each location. Tyler graduated Xavier High School in 2020 and began her secondary education at Oberlin College & Conservatory. At Oberlin, Tyler was able to expand her love of the sciences and arts, majoring in neuroscience with a minor in music.

Tyler loved animals passionately, especially Bentley, the family dog which she really believed and professed was hers and only hers. She was the consummate performer and yes, she was a true drama queen!!! Tyler will always be remembered for her effervescent personality, kind heart and passion for life. Tyler, although physically gone, will never, ever be forgotten. Her legacy will forever live on.
