Alvin F. Vondracek, 91, of Fairfax, formerly of Swisher, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at West Ridge Care Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Brosh Chapel. Military rites will be conducted by the Swisher American Legion. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery, Swisher.
