Jared Hempstead, 42, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023. Jared was born on July 30, 1980, in Manchester, Iowa, to Richard and Peggie Hempstead. He worked as Operations Manager for Ingredion, as well as for Collins Aerospace for over 20 years.

Jared is survived by his wife, Megan; and his four sons, Kyler, Kasen, William and Owen, all of Cedar Rapids.
