Samantha Ann Stoker

Samantha Ann Stoker

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow;

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;

I am the gentle autumn’s rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there;

Samantha Ann Stoker, age 34, loving mother, daughter and sister went to be with our Lord and heavenly family on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Samantha’s passing was unexpected, and she passed peacefully at Texas Health Harris Hospital.

Samantha was soft hearted, had a strong personality and gave the best hugs.  She was the ambassador that held our family together.  She loved being an “at home mom” and everything that goes with being a young mother.  Her greatest joy was being mother to her children, Elizabeth and Micah.

She enjoyed being with family and friends.  Samantha had the abilities to make friends wherever she went.  The shining light within social gatherings.

Samantha was self-employed, worked with Black Velvet Bakery & Co., and was an assistant kitchen manger at Burleson Independent School District.

Samantha is survived by her children, Elizabeth and Micah Olivas; mother, Tammy Trimble; father, Stephen Stoker; brother, Clinton Stoker; grandparents, Deloris Williams and Charles Wright; and numerous other family members and friends.
