Linda Lou Alibasic, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died Oct. 17, 2022. Linda requested no services; the family will honor that request.

Born on Feb. 22, 1953, in Dubuque, to Lois and Charles Ronek. She married Mike Alibasic on Aug. 23, 1990, he treated her boys as his own.

She is survived by two sons, Dave Barnhart (Rachel) of North Liberty and Jayme Barnhart (Becky) of Mechanicsville; and her beloved grandbabies, Blake Shaw, Sammie Barnhart, Sydney Barnhart, Alyssa Barnhart, Hannah Smith and Sophia Smith.

Preceding Linda in death was her father; mother-in-law, Zora; and her soul mate, Mike, who she is happily reunited with.

We will continue to honor them with our annual Christmas Eve slivovitz toast. Cheers to Zora, Mike and Linda.
