Frances “Fran” Geneva Nussbaum, 94, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022.

Fran is survived by her daughters-in-law, Therese Nussbaum and Martha Nussbaum; grandchildren, Elaine Nussbaum, John (Amy) Nussbaum and Kathryn Nussbaum; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Nussbaum; brother, Earl (Ima) Winchell; sister-in-law, Jackie Winchell; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Michael and Phillip; sisters, Theda (Everett) Robinson and Mary (Charles) Poli; brother, Paul Winchell; two nephews; and her special friend, Bob McKenzie.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Lensing Funeral Home in Iowa City. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Newbern Cemetery near Chariton.
