Manuel G. “Willie” Santiago, 58, of Mount Prospect, formerly of Chicago. Beloved wife of Jamie McGee Santiago. Dear father of Amaris Santiago. Beloved son of Elda and the late Manuel “Basilio” Santiago. Dear brother of Odalys Santiago and Carlos (Dinorah) Santiago. Fond uncle of Marcos, Krysten, Jonathan, and Lizette. Great-Uncle of Ariana. Beloved by many friends and relatives. Willie is a lifelong business man. He owned and operated Cafeteria Marianao for many years with his family. Willie attended Schurz Highschool and achieved All-State for his outstanding baseball career. He continued his passion for baseball, and played for the Chicago North Men’s Senior Baseball League (CNMSBL) for many years. He was a proud father, beloved family man and will be sorely missed.
