Sheryl L. Haynes, 91, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 in Granbury.
Sheryl L. Haynes was a remarkable woman whose life with filled with love, music and service to others. Born in Twin Falls, Idaho to the late Delvin and Donna Lincoln, she dedicated her life to her family and her passion for teaching music. Throughout her years, she touched the lives of many students and fostered a love of music in the community.
She will be remembered not only for her musical talents but also for her warm spirit and generous heart. Her involvement in church activities and volunteer work showcased her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around her.
Sheryl married Jerry Paul Haynes and together they had 3 children, Gregory, Randy and Teri. Sheryl’s legacy will live on through her family, including her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will cherish the memories of the time spent with her.
Sheryl is survived by her husband, Jerry Paul Haynes; daughter, Teri and husband Chad Shannon; grandchildren, Brandon Barnes and wife Ashley and Alesha Vesely, Jeremy Paul Haynes and wife Cassie, Ryan Haynes and wife Samantha; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Mason, Bethany Barnes, Pax Vesely, Harley Spoon, Christopher Spoon, Harper Haynes, Hunter Haynes, Hayden Haynes, Asher Haynes and Kane Haynes; brother, Stuart Lincoln; sister Karen Stastny.
In addition to her parents, Sheryl was proceeded in death by her sons, Gregory Paul Haynes and Randy Keith Hayes, brother Keith Lincoln.
The memorial service will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate her life and honor her memory. As they gather to share stories and express their love, they will carry forward the values that Sheryl instilled in them-the importance of family, community and the joy of music.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Wiley Center, 420 Highway 377 East, Granbury, Texas.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 starting at 10:00 am at Wiley Center, 420 Highway 377 East, Granbury, Texas.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements under the care of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
