Kerry Agnew

Kerry L. Agnew was born on January 22, 1961, to the parents of the Late James E. Agnew and Sarah L. Agnew. He was the second oldest child and the only son.

Kerry attended Dallas Independent Schools and later earned his graduate diploma. At an early age Kerry accepted Christ and joined Christ Willing Workers Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorship of the Late Lallie D. Johnson. He was reinstated in his later years at Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church.

Kerry enjoyed sports, old school music, gospel music and watching movies. Kerry was a fun but also a quiet person. He always recognized his great nieces and great nephews with rewards which was usually money. Kerry loved being around his family and his family loved being around him.

Kerry passed away on March 13, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.

Kerry was proceeded in death by his father: James Agnew, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, Nephew: Kanard Cannon and longtime companion Charlotte Ann Shaw.

Kerry leaves to cherish his fun memories his mother: Sarah Agnew, sisters: Cheryl Walker, Lisa Cannon both of Dallas and Dana Hancock (Troy) of Antioch, CA., nieces: Nakeeta Agnew, Kamilya Cannon, Kamesha Cannon, Shameeka Thomas, Jameela Wright, and Tiffani Agnew and nephew: Brandon Agnew. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be missed by all immensely.
