Alfred Spranger

Alfred R. Spranger, Jr., 75, of Cleveland, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Rome Health. He was born in Little Falls on October 11, 1950, a son of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Schreppel) Spranger, Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of Canajoharie High School and on July 27, 1974, he was united in marriage to Diane Fredericks.

Alfred retired from Brown’s Security and together with his wife moved to his dream home in Cleveland. He loved to work on his property and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding it. He was a gun collector and loved to target shoot, hunt and fish.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Diane, are two sons, Michael and Paul (Kelly) Spranger; a daughter-in-law, Amy Spranger; one granddaughter, Lauren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
