Patricia Surkala

Patricia J. Surkala, 92, passed away on July 11, 2025, at Christ the King Manor.

Born March 11, 1933, to the late Don M. and Gladys (Kunselman) Barr in Coolspring, PA.

Patricia was married to the late John Surkala, was a member of the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church, retired from housekeeping at the DuBois Hospital, was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, gardening and anything outdoors.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was proceeded by, her parents, husband and 10 siblings. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 2 pm – 5pm with the service following visitation at 5 pm, with the Rev. Allen Hewitt officiating, at the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium. Interment will take place in Reynoldsville Cemetery.
