Fengyun Lu

Fengyun “LuLu” Lu, a loving and selfless soul who touched countless lives with her kindness and strength, passed away on the morning of October 23, 2025, after a long and courageous fight. She was known to all who met her as someone who always put others before herself — a true example of compassion, generosity, and resilience.

Lu’s gentle heart and caring nature left an indelible mark on her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her. No matter the challenges she faced, she met them with courage, grace, and an unwavering spirit. Lu was a fighter — not only in her final days but throughout her entire life. She faced every obstacle with quiet strength and determination, inspiring those around her to do the same.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Guirong (Gina) Cai; her two sisters; and her two brothers, all of whom cherished her deeply. Her family and friends will forever remember her for her warmth, her laughter, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

In honor of Lu’s generous spirit, the family kindly requests no flowers. Instead, cards and letters of remembrance are welcome and may be sent to the funeral home. 

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 1st at 11 am at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Avenue). 

Though she is no longer with us, Lu’s kindness, strength, and love will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
