Denis Webb, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025. Denis was the beloved husband of Joanne Najpauer Webb. Born in Bridgeport, Denis’s zest for life and love for his family were the hallmarks of his wonderful journey through life.
Denis is also survived by his beloved daughter, Melissa Kluth, and her husband, Frank; cherished grandson, Dylan Kluth; sister, Joanne Webb; brother-in-law, Frank Najpauer and his wife, Susan; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Webb.
Denis’s passion for the great outdoors was evident in his frequent visits to national parks, where he captured the beauty of nature through his exceptional photography skills. His artistic eye and love for the environment were preserved in the stunning images he shared, inspiring others to appreciate the world’s natural wonders.
For years, Denis dedicated his time to coaching Pop Warner football for the Lordship Bombers, where he became a mentor and role model to young athletes.
An avid golfer, Denis could often be found on the greens, enjoying the game he loved with friends and fellow enthusiasts.
Denis was well-known in Stratford as the friendly and devoted owner of Dobby’s Men’s Shop in Stratford Center. His warm smile and thoughtful advice made him more than just a businessman; he was a trusted friend to his customers and a respected member of the local business community.
Every year, Denis looked forward to vacationing in Maine with his beloved wife. These cherished getaways were a testament to his love for family and his appreciation for the simple joys in life. His loyalty as a fan was unwavering, whether he was cheering on the New York Yankees, New York Rangers, New York Giants, or Notre Dame University. Denis found comfort and nostalgia in watching old westerns on TV, a pastime that allowed him to unwind and reminisce.
Denis’s grandson, Dylan, was the light of his life. He took immense pride in Dylan’s accomplishments, both in sports and academics, and his support was a constant source of encouragement. Denis’s bond with his black lab, Molly, was equally special. He delighted in spoiling her with treats, and their companionship was a testament to his loving nature.
Above all, Denis was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family was the foundation upon which he built his life. Those who knew Denis will remember him as a man of great heart, whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds.
