Charles Edward Haynes, 76, of Star City, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at his home. He was born December 20, 1948, in Lincoln County to late Willie and Virgie Webb Haynes. Mr. Haynes was a retired tire maker with Tread Co in Little Rock. Mr. Haynes was also a disabled United States Army Veteran who was wounded while serving on the front lines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Turtle Creek Hunting Club, enjoyed gardening, selling produce at the Flea Market, and loved hunting.
Also preceding him in death is a sister, Mary Richie, and brother, Kenneth Haynes.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Sarah Haynes of Griffith Springs, a son, David Glen Haynes of Griffith Springs, 4 brothers; Eugene Haynes (Jennifer), Randy Paul Douglas Haynes, Richard Haynes and Steve Allen Haynes (Joann) of all of Star City, a sister, Patricia Crook of Monticello, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation is from 9:00AM-10:00AM Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Griffin Funeral Service. Graveside services are 10:30AM Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Best Cemetery with Bro. BJ Duvall officiating.
