Leamon Neley “Lee” Branscum, Jr., age 68, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Branscum was born on October 13, 1956, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked in the Oil field for 20 plus years, then drove a truck for 42 years, and worked for the Sevier County Road crew. He enjoyed hunting, riding a ranger looking for deer, dancing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jewell F. Skaggs and dad Leonard Skaggs who he called dad and raised him, and Raymond Holley, his step father; his father, Leamon N Branscum, Sr.; his wife of 26 years, Sharon Ellen Bowen Branscum; great grandson, Ryder Cole Mitchell; son, Shawn Michael Olsen; brothers, Kerry Dean Chapman, Terry Hal Chapman, Jerry Branscum; and one sister, Mary Ann Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Linda “Polly” Sullivan of the home; daughters, Michelle Lea Olsen of Wichita Falls, Texas, JoLynn Hoover and William of De Queen, AR; grandchildren, Nicole Pierce and Michael of Hawkins, TX, Hope Barron and Conner of Horatio, AR, Adam Shores and Ellianett of Gillham, AR, Massey Hoover and Krystina of De Queen, AR; great-grandkids, Brantley, Jaxon, Braiden, Aviana, Sofia, Elcie, Evee; one sister, Debbie Skaggs of Hot Springs, AR; brothers, Calvin Branscum of California and Tommy Branscum of Texas; special cousin/brother, Buster Mathews of Electra, TX; special nephew and nieces, Judson, Ellie and Katy Ray and numerous other nieces and nephews and The Higgins family.
Graveside services for Mr. Branscum will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery in De Queen, Arkansas, with Kevin Williamson officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the funeral home.
