In Loving Memory of Paulette Angele Robert
March 28, 1940 – July 26, 2025
Paulette Angele Robert passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025. Born in Taupont, Brittany, France on March 28, 1940, she was the daughter of Paul Julien & Jeanne Marie LeClaire. Paulette moved to Woonsocket, RI in 1959 after meeting and marrying her husband, Raymond, while he was stationed in France serving in the United States Air Force.
Paulette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was always looking out for and caring for others while still maintaining her feisty French spirit. She taught herself to speak, read and write English using her son Rene’s Kindergarten books. While raising her son, she worked as a talented seamstress and then as a payroll clerk at NAS Jacksonville. During her retired life, she loved spending time at the beach, traveling, sewing/needlepoint and spending time with her family.
Paulette is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond, her son, Rene (Lori) Robert, her grandson, Cameron (Joanna) Robert, her sister Josette (Jacque) Guerin, her brother, Claude (Chantal) LeClaire, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is now our Angele in heaven, watching over us.
To honor Paulette, funeral arrangements will begin with a visitation held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 5pm – 7pm, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park. Followed by a funeral Mass that will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, starting at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island then conclude with burial services at St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Mandarin.
