Danny Saint

July 26, 1954 – July 3, 2025

Danny Ray Saint, 70, died July 3, 2025, at his home in Grant, Alabama after a long road of illness. Mr. Saint was born on July 26, 1954, in Guntersville, Alabama to Ray and Dorris Saint. He worked for 45 years with Continental Grain/ Cargill before retiring in 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Paula Saint; children Shannon (Heather) Saint and Alisha (Daniel) Garrard; grandchildren Baylee (Josh) Thrasher, Savanna Belle Saint, Chloe Garrard, Madelyn Saint, and Conner Garrard; step-grandchildren JD Quick, Laney Quick, and Jackson Quick; siblings Mike (Gaye) Saint, Cathy (Lavon) Stone, and Denise (Steve) Burgess; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dorris Saint, brother Edwin Glenn Saint, sisters Diane Lynch, Elaine Spurgeon, and Meredith Hereford and son Danny Shane Saint; in-laws Ed Lee and Charlie Mae Saint and sister-in-law, Teresa Saint.

The visitation will be Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 5:00-9:00 pm at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church followed by the burial at Panquin Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brannon Lynch, Joshua Lynch, Patrick Lynch, Benjamin Stone, Andrew Burgess, and Austin Saint.
Honorary Pallbearers are Tyler Burgess and Marcus Burgess
Officiating will be directed by Chris Clark and Lavon Stone.
New Hope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
