Prescilla Gallegos

Prescilla Gallegos was born on December 27, 1949. A resident of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on Saturday June14,2025.

Prescilla grew up in the small town of El Rito, New Mexico, with 12 siblings. After High school, attended a vocational school which lead to her employment at PERA for the state of New Mexico. After marriage and having her only child, moved to Colorado Springs where she lived the rest of her life. She was a dedicated and hard worker in her career that began with work at Aircraft Mechanics and on to Honeywell/Atmel as an Electronics Test Specialist where she would eventually retire from.

Those that knew Prescilla would say that she was kind, compassionate, spiritual, loving and full of grace. Prescilla loved making her home warm and inviting. Her home always full of plants and reflecting the changing seasons or upcoming holiday. Her yard, a very serene place that kept her busy having to tend to her many bird and squirrel feeders and her many wind spinners. She also liked to travel and enjoyed meeting up with her friends and getting together with her family.

Prescilla was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Gallegos. Her parents Jose and

Juanita Alire, her siblings, Ophilia Gurule, Horacio, Jimmy, Jose Pacomio, Robert, David Alire, and nephew Eugene Alire

Prescilla is survived by her son Chris. Her siblings, Judy Rivera (Paul), Lucille Varela (Roy), Arturo Alire (Veronica), Porfirio Alire (Mae), Pauline Varoz, Joanne Wiggins.
