Did you feel it? Magnitude 3.6 earthquake overnight north of Yerington

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded 13.2 miles north northeast of Yerington at 3:24 a.m. Thursday morning, according to Nevada Seismological Lab and USGS.

The earthquake was at a depth of around 4.7 miles (7.61 kilometers) and happened a few hours after a much smaller one 5.1 miles northwest of Schurz, which registered a 1.0 magnitude at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday.
