Jose Rodriguez

Jose Elias Rodriguez, age 84, transitioned peacefully on Monday June 2, 2025 at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, New York. He was born on July 21, 1940 in Rio Piedras, raised by his mother Luisa Delgado. He believed in God and received pastoral care daily at the hospital. 

He was a New York City taxi driver for 40 years and enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. He loved New York and would share insight to those visiting. He enjoyed cooking, taking pictures, restaurants, singing and dancing. Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, sharing three grandsons, three granddaughters, followed by two great granddaughters, his sister Lillian, his brother Rafael and his godson Ronald Rodriguez.
